ARMS VIDEO IDEA - PORNOCAPITALISMO

March 12, 2011 Rome
at Rising Love - Via delle Conce 14 from 21 hours to 23.
MY BODY Post Porn is Art, Live Art and Body Art Extreme

"The audacity and madness of capitalism they have given the authority by transforming corpi.Corpi of women, gay, lesbian, transgender, bisexual, queer, sick, insane, disabled, anorexia, fat, too ugly or too beautiful, children, perverts, strangers, suckers ... as occupied territories and controlled by constant manipulation that affects all levels of perception of reality and existence. The communication has become a commodity, the relationship of distrust and surveillance reports, the contact end, the life experience aside, the desire for a synthetic simulacrum and the request to participate and be accessible only in the logic becomes the tangent. The mediation of power and distortion so by emptying the old ideologies and efficient cleaning of the history and consciousness, proposing an ethics of the show where the only thing that matters is profit. Sexuality itself embodies the codes of this policy of bodily dead. Since waste of these mechanisms and mediating between the head and viscera rework our bodies and our minds with a feeling of love and a mad recklessness charge of poetry. The idea of \u200b\u200bPornocapitalismo is a visible manifestation of an urgent review of the concepts of politics, economics, social struggle, and life itself, in order to reinterpret the present, discovering a common ethics and project that still has no name. CYCLE: MEETING-ART:
WEEK ON ART, WOMEN AND TECHNOLOGY

FROM 7 TO 12 MARCH 2011 TIME: 19-22
Space
Menosuno C / La Palma, 28 Madrid

The concept of "gender" underlying a biological perspective, bodily, organic, natural. In addition, there is a social construct that transcends the body, a cultural artifact that simulates reality artificial. Disconnected from this duality archaic and fictitious, through performances, exhibitions, video screenings, lectures and direct interaction with the artists, the pieces of this cycle is meant to elicit reflection on contemporary reconstruction of gender identity, all at through technological means, new channels of reconstruction of reality. Thus, once the traditional walls disappear in a virtual context, it is possible to construct from scratch a new concept of identity. Marisol Perez

In MUARTECH: Actions hybrid gender, Menosuno want to be open to debate, generating talks with exhibiting artists and works that deal with gender issues, technology, art, culture and society. Since we link Menosuno Space March - when claims about March 8, Working Women's Day-to gender issues and art, and hybridization contributions of feminism and the technological tools to produce culture .

Are The Juices From Concentrate Are Good For You

Alicante VISUAL CULTURE / DESIGN GLOBALES_ REWRITE THE HISTORY OF ART?

SATURDAY 5 MARCH 2011
10-14hrs and 17-21hrs

Arts Santa Monica La Rambla 7 / Barcelona / 08002

The debate proposed for this fifth edition focuses on the way in which globalization has been questioned, reinventing or disrupting the discourse of difference. The ambiguities and false universalism of so-called 'feminism' and 'post-feminism' global
will therefore be the starting point and the object of criticism of this symposium. As

try to outline along this journey, the South-South dialogue and diversification of new forms of knowledge production, not based or consensus-building or in the identification a unique and unambiguous political agenda, have meant a radical epistemic shift, which has implications core as the basis of certain disciplines (such as geography, anthropology, sociology, art history, etc..) or future of certain fields of study (such as visuality, identity, production / reproduction of culture, etc.) refers.

How does feminist art history the problem of intersectionality? How can articulate demands globally diverse as Chicano feminism, those of 'black feminism', the Caribbean feminism, the feminism of the crowd, etc. unbuilt Universal false and without perpetuating the Eurocentrism of liberal feminism? Finally, as suggested by Angela Dimitrakaki (one of our invited to this symposium) how can reactivate the project of a feminist method materialistic while the art world in particular and for the production of knowledge in general?
